GLOSSARY > UNSUPERVISED LEARNING
Unsupervised Learning
A type of machine learning that looks for previously undetected patterns in a data set with no pre-existing labels and with a minimum of human supervision.
Unsupervised Learning algorithms cluster and structure raw, unlabeled data. In enterprise architecture, these algorithms are critical for anomaly detection, automatically identifying subtle deviations in network traffic or factory floor telemetry that human engineers lack the bandwidth to perceive.
