Active Learning
A special case of machine learning in which a learning algorithm can interactively query a user to obtain the desired outputs at new data points.
Active Learning dramatically reduces the cost of data labeling. Instead of human experts reviewing millions of documents, the AI system autonomously identifies the specific edge-cases it is most confused by and routes only those specific documents to humans for clarification, vastly accelerating the training loop.
